Today we talked about the space for the exhibition and how we can use it to the best of our advantage. We talked about how there are different ways of branding the exhibition and how there are a range of places to display our work. Since I don't have a final developed idea for what i want my exhibition to include it was interesting hearing how people have displayed things in the past and how they used the space to its advantage.
I understand that someone would have to take the role of main creator of the exhibition and them and perhaps a team plan and brand the space. I think this is something I would like to do because I feel I can design and find solutions to exhibiting work. I think the main thing to keep in mind for the exhibition is that it can either be very busy with lots of work or be more minimal and structured. I feel personally quality over quantity if the most important rule and i think that we made it clear that perhaps if some people work brings the quality of the show down then it might not be included in the show.
I feel this talk helped me be more alert of the space and now I think when I am here in the studio, I will be more observant to what there is to use and where to display.
